SUMMARY:On the trail of the myrrophores in Ancient Egypt
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a journey in the footsteps of the sacred perfumes of Ancient Egypt. The great civilisation that practised the art of royal alchemy perfected the use of oils for healing and devotion and left us a golden legacy that we can reconnect with today to resacralise the world. \nCome and explore the history and use of sacred oils in Egyptian temples. You’ll discover the recipes for the oils used in the temples\, how they were applied\, the role of oil as a psychopomp and its place in the art of healing. Together\, we’ll retrace the route of perfumes\, spices and incense\, and marvel at the recipes for the perfumes inscribed on the walls of the most beautiful temples. \n\nWhat we’ll experience together\n\n\nYou will practice the divine art of oils and incense with what you have just learned in the temples and through the connection to the gods and goddesses to whom the oils were dedicated as the most sacred offerings.
