The light triggers the dark. But the darkness of the fertile void also prepares us to hold more light. Our planet has been flooded with very powerful, very high solar frequencies over the last decade and over the last years. The vibration of our reality, of the space we live in, has increased exponentially. Yet, we try to continue to operate as we were before, perpetuate the patterns and behaviours that we were used to even though our reality has already radically and irreversibly changed. And this doesn’t work. It will either make us physically ill or it will trigger an experience called the “dark night of the soul” - a period in which we lose all faith, all points of reference and we sometimes very nearly lose ourselves completely. This happens when part of us is already tuned in to the new frequencies, another part is stuck in the old and it creates such tension and distance between the different parts of the self that it creates a rupture in the psyche, a tearing of the self. This is particularly the case if we have structured a large part of our personality or being on external validation, which creates a lack of presence with our true self and an incapacity to hear our deepest needs and desires. This can happen if we have had a difficult childhood for example, or abusive relationships where we felt we had to roleplay or compete to bargain for some love and attention. When this happens over a prolonged period, this pattern of needing to please and seeking external approval and validation, the need to hide our true selves for safety reasons becomes the structure in which we operate, creating a rift between our external persona and our true feelings and being. What is breaking away during this period of experienced darkness is the false persona and the fragile structures of co-dependency to be reborn into the sovereign self.
Whereas a couple of years ago we would have had more time to process our shadows and our wounding, our reality has accelerated in such a way that we are under a lot more pressure to process things rapidly. This is because the physical and energetic aspect of our reality have already shifted to a much higher octave. The flood of light, the flood of solar frequencies and of very high vibrations is really massive. We are not prepared to receive this much light; our frail energetic, physical, and psychological structures cannot (yet) hold this much light. Therefore, the upgrade has to happen fast and we are put under a lot of pressure energetically as a result. It is our destiny to merge our light bodies once again with our physical bodies, but this needs to be prepared. We prepare ourselves for receiving all this light and energy by awakening the presence of the Divine Mother within. One of the aspects of the divine mother is the dark goddess, the energy of the void, allowing us to lean into the unknown and expand beyond our comfort zone. By allowing her in, we gradually expand our being and our physical experience. We familiarise ourselves with the energy of the void, allowing us to expand beyond our limiting structures and create more energetic space to receive the light. The divine feminine prepares us as the grail cups we are to hold the solar masculine energy without being energetically fried.
